An Early 1800's Dayton, Ohio Schoolhouse Gets a New Life
The client purchased a one-room 1800s Schoolhouse with the dream of converting it into a small home. The client wanted to incorporate an Edwardian Style kitchen into the home. With the small space, the client opted for a galley-style kitchen. She wanted to have an eat-in kitchen area that fits into the design of the kitchen. The design included an oversized cupboard pantry for ample storage while also hiding small appliances. The kitchen features a large farm sink, pull-out trash, and compost bin, and is completed with solid maple countertops.
