17th Century finish

Single color Salmon with distressing and aging

For this finish, our milk paint or latex is used to create the old look of the dry painted finish found on early pieces. this finish typically does not have a protective topcoat and will continue to wear and chip away as an original piece would have. We use this for furniture only that receives light use. This is a one-color only finish as it was the first finish on a piece from that period. Simulated distressing and aging will be present. Glaze and a top coat can be added.

Meeting House Red over Walnut Hulls

For this finish our latex paint can be used, this gives a good look of an old piece but with the added glazes and toners and finished off with a low luster topcoat for added durability. This finish is a single color or over and darker undercoat color and can be used on our cabinetry and furniture. All pieces will have light distressing with an aged finish.
